Merlin
Once & Future Wizard
Elen Sentier
Pagan Portals - Moon Books, 2016
Bestselling author Elen Sentier looks at Merlin in history and mythology and
considers his continuing relevance for people today. Best known as the wizard
from the Arthurian stories, Merlin has been written about for well over 1000 years
and is considered to be both a magical and historical figure. Over the centuries
many people have had relationships with Merlin and in this book the author brings
him to life for us once again in yet another way and from yet another perspective.
"... a grand and imaginative work that introduces the reader to the many faces
of the mysterious Merlin. Combining history and myth, personal experience and teaching
stories, into a vibrant whole which captivates readers, this little book will invite
you to seek out Merlin in the living world of today as well is the tales of old.
Truly a delightful read."
Morgan Daimler, author of Pagan Portals - The Morrigan and Fairycraft
Elen Sentier was born on Dartmoor and grew up on Exmoor. She now lives, with her cats,
husband and a host of wildlife in the back of beyond by the river Wye in the Welsh Marches.
Here she writes magic/mystery/romance novels and books on British native shamanism.
When not writing she may be found walking the wilds, painting watercolours, spinning,
weaving and knitting, cooking up hedgerow brews or garderning. And reading, reading, reading!
