Review
I have found little to no information in this booklet about how well the different face masks protect against viruses
and even less, if not nothing, about crisis management. On page 69, a study is discussed that shows that homemade face masks increase
rather than reduce the risk of infection. The book therefore does discuss scientific studies here and there, but the
references to scientific publications and studies are completely absent, so that the conclusions in the book cannot be checked.
In chapter 14 a number of studies are discussed that show that face masks are effective, but without references to the studies concerned,
by whom those studies were done, what the title of those studies would be, no reference whatsoever that could bring us to those studies.
The book jumps from one piece to the next and it seems to be written in colloquial language. It contains a lot of fluff content,
for example it goes on for almost a full page about socks as a face mask (page 24) and the pub is a popular subject.
This booklet turned out to be worthless for my research into the pros and cons around face masks.
I'm not even sure what this book is trying to tell about face masks. One thing is clear to me; it was a waste of my time and money.
